A WORLD WITHOUT NEW HIV INFECTIONS
This could be a headline just 15 years from now. According to the UNAIDS FastTrack report, there is a strong global consensus that the tools now exist to end the AIDS epidemic. We know what to do and where to start. Consider this: 75 percent of all new HIV infections occur in youth between the ages of 13-24. AIDS Foundation Houston (AFH) is dedicated to being a player in the worldwide push to end HIV / AIDS by 2030 through programs that actively help HIV-positive youth and others to know their status, take their meds, keep their doctor visits, and erase the stigma of HIV / AIDS. Become their ally by donating today.
Get Tested, Get Educated, Get Covered.
Get Tested. Ending HIV/AIDS begins with knowing your status, eliminating stigma and taking charge of your health. We offer FREE HIV and syphilis testing every TUESDAY at our office from 10am - 4pm. Walk-ins welcome! No appointment needed. Take charge of your health.
Get Educated. HIV affects everyone. If you are newly diagnosed, have a family member living with HIV/AIDS or just want to learn more about HIV and STDs, we'd like to invite you to join one of our community groups. Each group meets once a month at our office.
Make an Impact
The independence of taking care of myself and my apartment has been so great! I have learned to cope with life's ups and downs and how to become a real human being. I know at last that I'm not dying and that I have a future." - AFH Client
For 31 years, your support has given a future to thousands of Houstonians living with HIV/AIDS.
