We at AIDS Walk Houston are making 2010 the year to Go Green!

We’re starting out small, but every little bit helps!

What does Going Green mean for this year’s AIDS Walk?

#1 IT MEANS being kind to Mother Nature by reducing the amount of promotional materials that we print.  ONLY POSTERS WILL BE PRINTED THIS YEAR.  If you would like posters for your church, gym, office etc. they are available online under “Walker Resources.”

#2 IT MEANS we are encouraging everyone to do their fundraising online using a credit card.   If you would like a donation form for your offline donations they are available on the website under “Walker Resources.”  Donation envelopes can be mailed to you upon request.
If you have cash or check donations you agree to bring them to the office before Walk day.

 #3 IT MEANS as a Green Walker you agree to receive all AIDS Walk communication through email or by downloading it from the AIDS Walk Website.  As an incentive you will receive a green wristband the day of the Walk signifying your commitment to the environment and to AIDS Walk.  Also, if all of your donations are online or already turned in you can stand in the Green Walker line which makes for faster incentive pick up.
