Important Information for AIDS Walk

Location: Sam Houston Park - Downtown Houston - 1000 Bagby St. 77002

Parking: Free street parking downtown

Weather: WE WALK RAIN OR SHINE!

Check-In: When you arrive for the Walk, check in at the Registration tent, or the Go Green tent.

Go Green Tent: The Go Green tent is for those who did 100% of fundraising online. Check-in at the Go Green tent to verify your donation total and to receive your incentive voucher (if applicable). No checks or cash will be accepted at the this tent.

Registration Tent: The registration tent is prepared to receive cash and checks, as well as verify your online donations and give you your incentive voucher (if applicable).

Incentive Tent: There are three levels of fundraising incentives: $125, $500, $1,000. Once your donation total is verified you will receive a voucher for your incentives.

Schedule of Events: Noon - Check-In  | 1 pm - Walk | 2 pm - Rock The Walk Concert

Concert: Join us as we Rock The Walk from 2-5 pm with legendary Houston artists Bun B, Paul Wall, Los Skarnales, and DJ Gracie Chavez! Get tested for HIV before the end of February and get a free pass to the VIP Guest Zone where you will enjoy tasty nibbles from FM Kitchen & Bar and beverages from Starbucks! FAST FAQ's:

  • AIDS Walk incentives are not for sale. The only way to receive them is to fundraise or donate the amount.
  • The Walk is a ~3k (~1.8 miles) and steps off at 1 p.m.
  • Street parking only. There will be no parking passes this year.
  • Pets are not allowed at the walk.
