Your support of AFH changes lives! Donors like you allow AIDS Foundation Houston to continue empowering individuals, families, and communities affected by HIV and further our mission to end the HIV epidemic in the Houston area. Here is a look at the many ways that your contribution makes a difference:


  • $10 helps our website to educate the community and how to access care
  • $25 covers art therapy for a client living in one of our housing communities
  • $50 funds START Now treatment for someone newly diagnosed with HIV
  • $100 supports AFH's Mobile Testing Unit
  • $300 enables us to teach landscaping and gardening skills at our Help House housing community
  • $600 provides 12 months of food from our Stone Soup Food Pantry for a household impacted by HIV
  • $750 pays for labs for 6 PrEP clients to access care and help end the acquisition of HIV
  • $1,000 provides 100 HIV/STI testing kits in our community
  • $1,400 supplies 12 months of roundtrip transportation for a client's medical appointments to keep them in care
  • $1,800 grants a child living with HIV the chance to experience  Camp Hope, our youth summer camp

Our new Ribbons of Giving Society offers our supporters a way to take your commitment to ending the HIV epidemic in Houston to the next level by continually supporting our mission. As a member of the Ribbons Giving Society, you're pledging an annual commitment that we'll use towards ending the HIV epidemic in the Houston area. Matching Gifts


You may be able to double your donation to AIDS Foundation Houston! Hundreds of companies match the donations given to non-profit organizations by their employees. 

Just make your donation, then return to this page and enter your company's name in the search field below. If you're participating in an event like the Walk to End HIV, please share this page with your supporters so they can apply for matching gifts too!

In-Kind Gifts


We accept in-kind gifts that can be used in our programs and various housing facilities. If you would like to donate to AFH, please fill out the in-kind donation form and bring it with you when you deliver your donation. Community Giving

Investment/Broker Account Donations


Did you know that you can give directly from your IRA? After the age of 72, IRA owners must begin withdrawing a required minimum distribution from their retirement accounts annually. While this RMD withdrawal is taxable, if allocated as a charitable donation to a nonprofit like AIDS Foundation Houston, the retirement owner may earn a tax break. If interested in donating directly from your IRA or other investment/broker accounts, please contact  Kelly Nicholls.

Facebook Fundraisers


Facebook fundraisers are a great way to share your commitment to supporting AFH and encourage your friends and family to donate. Learn more about how to set up a Facebook fundraiser here—just remember to select “AIDS Foundation Houston” as your non-profit.
